Unlike other services, I work one on one with the client to make sure your query letter is exactly what you want before the final query letter is completed. (NOTE: Other services use hired writers and do not allow you to contact them, nor do they give you education, writing or any background information about them.)
Once the screenplay project is complete a Query Letter is needed in order to prepare the polished screenplay for marketing. In order to get Industry Professionals, such as readers, agents and producers to request to your screenplay material, they must first know what the 'idea' is about. This is done through the use of the Query Letter. A Query letter contains three important elements that help the Industry Professionals determine if they are interested in the type of screenplay you are currently trying to sell to them.
The first element is a fresh idea that is conveyed in the Logline which is what some Industry professionals call the 'hook'. A hook is a strong premise (story idea) that grabs the attention of the reader and has a compelling 'conflict'. (Conflict is story). The hook is conveyed through an enticing logline which helps the Industry Professional determine if they want to read your script. It is the most important element that will get people interested in reading your script. The logline is never more than two sentences long and should convey conflict, main character goal as well as a sense of the main genre.

The second element of the Query letter is a Brief Synopsis of the story which further conveys the 'hook' by describing more details about the main character's goal and the main conflict preventing him or her from reaching that goal. The Brief Synopsis should never give the ending away. If written properly, the Brief Synopsis further enticing the Industry Professional to request the material based on the characters, premise and genre.
The third element of the Query letter is a brief description of the Writer(s) Background. It contains a few sentences about the writer's basic background, education and occupation. If the screenplay has won any awards or contests or has received any 'recommends' or 'considers' from Professional Industry Readers this would also be noted in the writer's background paragraph as well.
